General rules
- Pets are not permitted here at Altos. Visitors may not bring animals into the Community unless they are guide dogs.
- Take Care not to throw ANYTHING over your terrace wall. It is a nuisance and possible danger to other owners below.
- Planter boxes on your terraces are owner’s responsibility and this includes any leaks from irrigation you may have installed or damage which result from flowers and plants you are watering causing any problems.
- Please close all doors and gates after you, and do not force them open.
- You should open doors and gates only to identified persons that you can clearly see through the monitor, and who are your visitors/deliverers
- The electronic fobs allow for opening of the pedestrian gate, and access to the pools. Those fobs are the property of the Community and are entrusted to the legitimate owners who are up to date with their Community Fees. These owners are responsible for their correct use, and they should under no circumstances give them to third parties, or to other owners. Any fobs or remote which are being misused will be cancelled.
- For your own security, we urge you to lock all doors and windows when you are out of your apartment. Security cameras do not always deter thieves. Alarms are one of the best deterrents and several security companies (Franjus, Securitas, Prosegur etc.) provide an excellent response service, details of which can be found by contacting Bravo.
If you wish to put in place iron bars (‘rejas’) in your windows (which we encourage) you must comply with the agreed model for our Community. The administrator can provide the name of the relevant contractor.
Do not park vehicles in private owner's spaces, unless they have allowed you to do so.
- All Rubbish must be disposed of OUTSIDE the community gates in the assigned bins.
Remember that perishable waste must only be disposed of between sunset and midnight, and in the summer, between 9pm and midnight. - Inside our Community, we have electricity boards, water meters, pool equipment, lift engines, security room, etc. These are all inside closed cabinets. For obvious security reasons, no owner/renter/agent/repairman etc. is allowed under any circumstances to access those areas, unless they are duly authorized by the Administrator or, in an extreme emergency case, by a Committee member. The consequences of unqualified persons getting access could be extremely dangerous (electric shock, fire hazard, etc.) and they will be liable. The Committee may take legal action if needed to protect the Community interests.
- There are 45 fire extinguishers in the Community. Please be sure to locate the nearest to your apartment, and that you understand how to use it in case of fire.
- Please do NOT play with the lifts and overload them, and do NOT let children play with the calling buttons. Break-downs will occur due to these reasons so please refrain from misusing the lifts.
- Approval is needed before any alterations or refurbishments can be carried out in your apartment. According to the law, ANY work undertaking in an apartment needs approval from the Authorities, even if you do the job itself.
Altos also need you to fill in a form with an attachment showing the work you wish to perform.
There are several different forms for applying for different kind of work, and you can get a copy by contacting our administrator.
